There has been a lot of secrecy from T-Mobile on the launch date of the highly anticipated HTC HD2. Now T-Mobile posted in their forums that the HTC HD2 will launch on Wednesday, March 24th.
You can buy the HTC HD2 for $199 on a 2-year contract or for $449 with no contract.
The HTC HD2 is offering a lot of cutting edge hardware features. The HD2 packs a 1GHz Snapdragon processor, a 4.3-inch (480 x 800px WVGA resolution) touchscreen, 448MB of RAM, and 512MB of ROM. It uses HTC's Sense UI on top of Windows Mobile 6.5. The HD2 sports b/g WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1, GPS, and a 5MP autofocus camera with dual LED flash. The size of the HTC HD2 is 2.6 x 4.8 x 0.4 inches and the weight is 5.5oz.
The HTC HD2 ships with Barnes & Noble eReader and with Blockbuster On Demand video service.
Overall the HTC HD2 is a very hot touchscreen smartphone. The only real issue is that the HTC HD2 cannot be upgraded to the upcoming Windows Phone 7 OS that is supposed to come this Fall.
