The company has USB 3.0 inside its notebooks and a few netbooks and it offers the new faster ports in a variety of its new mainboards. The use of USB 3.0 will only continue to grow and eventually we will not see many USB 2.0 ports around.
Right now most of the gear we are seeing only offers a single USB 3.0 port and several USB 2.0 ports. That will change as the USB 3.0 controller tech improves and becomes cheaper to implement.
