Best Buy reported better than expected numbers and gave an upbeat outlook for 2010. Best Buy's stock and also Amazon's jumped on this news.
Since the demise of Circuit City, Best Buy is almost the single choice to experience consumer electronics first hand before buying.
According to Reuters, Best Buy plans to open 50 to 55 large-format stores and 75-100 small-format stores in the United States.
Best Buy was also a great place to get Black Friday deals last year. We reported about lots of hot notebook, netbook and TV deals. Given the positive outlook Black Friday 2010 should become an even bigger sales event.
