The world's first portable hard drive with a massive one terabyte capacity is now available, thanks to Toshiba. Called the "Canvio," is measures just 0.65 inches deep and only weighs 6.3 ounces.
The Canvio only has one USB port and it doesn't support USB 3.0, but it does pretty much everything else. It also comes with a software suite for backing up files: NTI's BackupNow EZ. It provides a user-friendly archiving and search feature and offers protection for all files.
The new Canvio line comes in raven black, satin silver, liquid blue, rocket red, and komodo green. In addition to the 1TB model, it is also available in 500GB, 640GB, and 750GB sizes.
The 1TB model is actually surprisingly affordable: only $200.
