The Woz decided to end his professional relationship with Apple several years back, but it's clear that the tech guru still loves the company he helped found. In an interview with Newsweek Steve Wozniak discussed his ardent desire for an iPad of his own. He's already ordered two; one with WiFi, and one with 3G.
It's kind of surprising that he doesn't already have one. Apparently Apple's security measures are strict enough that not even a co-founder has earned the right to an early iPad. The Woz didn't seem to be disconcerted by this fact though.
He also listed the various gadgets he keeps on and with him for navigation help over the course of a car ride; two iPhones, a Nexus One, and a Droid. He also has Garmin and TomTom GPS systems. In the normal course of daily events, the two iPhones are all Wozniak needs. That's how he “solved” the problem of the iPhone's low battery and lack of multitasking. If only the rest of us could afford that sort of solution.
