Securing your computer and passwords is an important part of keeping your data and personal information stored on your computer safe. The catch is some people have a hard time remembering all of their passwords and need to keep the password somewhere safe. A new device called the Chipdrive has been unveiled that will help you manage your passwords.

The device is a portable, encrypted, pin protected password manager device that supports Windows computers. The Chipdrive device can also lock a computer to prevent anyone who isn't authorized from accessing anything on the machine.

The device is available now at Best Buy and other retail outlets as well as online stores for $29.99. the device is easy to use and the end user only needs to install software from a CD, insert the smartcard into the USB device, and log onto the computer.
