The Apple iPad is going on sale tomorrow, but Apple has already unleashed the first wave of iPad apps on the Apple iTunes store. One of the highly anticipated apps is the free Marvel Comics app for iPad. Tomorrow 500 Marvel comics will be available on the iPad.
Apple gave an iPad for review to the BoingBoing guys and they put it to good use. The latest is a interesting review and demonstration of the Marvel Comics app.

The comics graphics look absolutely stunning. See for yourself in the video below.

The iPad will be a very strong competition to printed comics. It will also bring new readers to comics, as it makes comics reading cool and easy.
