Apple just got the iPad into our hands and the next big thing is already around the corner.
Apple sent out invites (via Engadget) for a media event on April 8th featuring the iPhone 4.0 operating system.
That is right. Already Thursday Apple is giving us a sneak peek into the future of the iPhone OS.

This event is pretty short notice and this is a bit unusual, but what the heck, I am already excited to see what Apple packs into the next major iPhone OS release.
The iPhone 4 OS rumors point to new features like 3rd party multi-tasking. It will most likely still take a couple of months until Apple is going to release the iPhone 4 OS. It will be most likely with the release of a new iPhone 4 aka iPhone HD aka iPhone 2010 device.
