Nokia hasn't had the best of luck with new products lately. Despite being a geek dream machine, the N900 didn't manage to capture any substantial market share. Now Rodman Renshaw analyst Ashok Kumar is predicting that Nokia has another new product line in the offing. The Finnish company isn't about to just bow out of the tablet wars without a fight.
TheStreet reports that the Nokia tablet could hit as early as this Fall. It will likely be placed under Apple's $500 iPad in price. This may just be unsupported analyst babble, but I'd be very surprised if these predictions don't come true.
Last Fall, when netbooks were huge, Nokia released the Booklet 3G. Tablets are to 2010 what netbooks were to 2009. The market is new, and Nokia is too big a player to let the opportunity of getting in on the ground floor of the tablet boom pass them by.

The “geek mind” is concerned with more than just the latest iPhone rumors, or which company will win the gaming console wars. I4U is concerned with more than just the latest photo shoot or other celebrity gossip.
The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. If a Fortune 500 decides to raise their minimum wage, or any high priority news, the geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
