Toshiba Jumps Into US Camcorder Market With Camileo S20, H30, And X100

Toshiba has announced that it has entered into the camcorder market in the US. The Toshiba line includes the Camileo S20, H30, and X100 cameras. The S20 is a compact camera with a 67" profile and weighs only 3.5 ounces. The LCD is 3-inches and it has a 4x digital zoom and a 5MP CMOS sensor. The camera has full 1080p resolution, YouTube upload button and more.

The H30 has 5x optical zoom and 4x digital zoom. The screen of the camera is a 3" unit and it uses a 10MP CMOS sensor and can shoot 10MP still shots. The H30 also has a YouTube upload button. The X100 camera offers 10X optical zoom and takes 10MP still shots with its 10MP image sensor. It records 1080p video at 30fps and 1080i at 60 fps.

All of the cameras can be pre-ordered right now and will ship on April 19. The S20 will sell for $179.99, the H30 will retail for $249.99, and the X100 will retail for $399.99.
