The reVIVE II charger does what tech-savvy drivers love and law enforcement officials hate: it offers another reason to have more electronic devices in the front of the car while you're driving.
Scosche announced the new car charger today, which has two input ports: one is for the iPad, and one is for any USB-powered device, like an iPhone or iPod Touch. It's unique as one of the first car chargers marketed at the iPad, but also because of the presence of two ports.
Executive VP for Scosche Kas Alves said its recent iPad announcements "are just the tip of the iceberg" and added, "We will be announcing several industry first products."
In addition to the $25 car charger, Scosche will sell a home version of the device for around $30.
Customers can pre-order both items now from Scosche.com. The products will be available in the market in "late spring".
