Google Voice Desktop App Being Tested

Skype, the good old days are over. You're about to be in the fight of your life. TechCrunch has received confirmation from their sources that Google has built a Voice desktop application. This app will be able to make and receive calls. If you've got a Google Voice number, you'll be able to use your desktop PC as your home phone!

The application is in internal testing right now. That means we can expect a wider launch of this application sometime in the near future. 'Dogfooding' is usually one of the last stages before release. The Nexus One spent only a few weeks in that phase before launch. Hopefully the same will be true for Voice!
