Flip Slide HD Confirmed

The Flip Slide HD is a reality. Cisco has announced the launch of the newest addition to the Flip line. This handheld HD camcorder has a pop-up 3” screen. When folded down for recording mode, this screen acts as a resistive touchscreen.

The Slide has stereo speakers and HDMI-out. It is capable of capturing 720p video and has 16 GB of storage. That's four hours of record time, and 12 hours of compressed video storage. The Flip Slide HD will set you back $279, and is available right now from Amazon.com.
