The sub is called the BeoLab 11 and it features what B & O call a strong sculptural presence. It looks cool however you describe it, with a split design that reminds me a bit of one of the pods Alien babies come from.
The sub can be used from the floor or it can be wall mounted. It supports frequencies down to 300Hz and under. Two cabinets make up the design each with a 6.5-inch driver. The woofer can be used with Bang & Olufsen home theater gear or other stereo and AV equipment brands. Pricing ranges from $1997 to $2597 depending on the mount option and color. The woofer will ship in the middle of May.
