Nothing Screams Geek like Chariot Skates

Go out to a park on any pretty day and you are sure to see several people skating around on roller blades. Back when old school roller skates were common I wonder if the folks on roller blades looked as geeky as the people using Chariot Skates do today.

Chariot Skates strap to the feet and have large wheels on the front that look like they should be on a bike. A smaller wheel behind the large front one adds more stability. The big wheel promises to allow the user to skate over rougher terrain or on grass.

The skates also promise a new way for people to commute that is like riding a bike with no seat or handlebars. Chariot Skates has the exclusive right to distribute Wheel-skates, which is what the product is based on. Pricing and availability are unknown.
