CD players are a little bit passé. Most people don't even buy CDs any more, and those of us that do just rip them straight to our computers for ease of use and transfer over to MP3 players. If the Sonic Emotional Pulse of Music concept becomes a reality though, there might actually be a reason to bother with real CDs.
The design exposes half the CD and hides the rest behind a series of EQ round dots that are actually tiny speakers. While the music plays, the blue EQ line moves around with the music. The remote is touch sensitive and control buttons lie across the bottom of the stand as well. This thing is beautiful; keep your fingers crossed and hope it survives the testing phase.
