AT&T has slowly been adding new devices to its line to take advantage of the faster HSPA 7.2 speeds that it has been rolling out around the country. The latest device that it is adding to its lien for the faster speeds is a new laptop connect card called the Sierra Wireless AirCard 890.

The new laptop modem is set to land on May 5 and will work in both PC Card and ExpressCard slots. The device will also work on older and slower 3G networks.

The card will retail for $49.99 after a mail-in rebate and new customer agreement. The normal price is $149.99 and plans start at $35 monthly for data service.
