You can also get access to all sorts of other content that you don’t have on your local station. Sirius XM has announced that Android smartphone users will soon be able to get an app that allows the user to access all Sirius XM content from the smartphone.
The app will be offered for free, though a subscription will be required. The app will be offered on the DROID and Nexus One handsets. All 120 Sirius XM channels will be available and the app will let users bookmark favorite stations. The app is set to land in May.
