The Boy Genius Report has been an ample source of mobile phone rumors over the past years. We have picked up quite a bit of their first hand leaks and early hands on reviews of new BlackBerry phones and other mobile devices. Today Boy Genius Report (BGR) announces that Mail.com Media Corporation (MMC) has aquired the site.
MMC, the digital media company that owns and operates the Mail.com portal and email service as well as a growing portfolio of lifestyle brands including, Deadline.com, HollywoodLife.com, Movieline.com and OnCars.com.
Jonathan Geller launched BGR.com in 2006 and the site is now reaching over 1 Million users per month. Jonathna Geller was hiding his real name so far, but the 23 year old has now revealed himself.
With the new partner BGR is poised to grow quicker and reach a broader audience.
Boy Genius Report will be known now as BGR going forward. More details on BGR.
