Sceptre Unveils X270BV-FHD 27-inch HDTV

Sceptre has unveiled its latest LCD HDTV with a 27-inch screen. The set offers a full 1080p HD resolution with a 16:9 aspect ratio. The set has a 100,000:1 contrast ratio and a panel response time of 5ms. Inputs include three HDMI 1.3, USB, HDMI, DVI, and VGA.

The set uses an ATSC/NTSC/QAM tuner and has an internal noise reducing 3D comb filter. The PC inputs support the TVs native 1920 x 1080 resolution. The USB port allows the user to listen to digital music over the TVs sound system or view digital photos directly on the screen.

The sound system has a pair of 5W speakers and the set is Energy Star 4.0 compliant. This is the first 27-inch TV form Sceptre. It will be offered at Target, Sears, Costco and online at Newegg.com for $449.
