Nokia unveiled the new Nokia N8 smartphone on Tuesday. Today Dolby points out with a press-release that the Nokia N8 is the world's first handset to feature Dolby Digital Plus.
The Nokia N8 delivers Dolby Digital Plus via the HDMI interface to your home theater system.
The Nokia N8 is powered by Symbian^3 and features a 12MP camera.
The N8 is it will be available in select markets during the third quarter of 2010. The estimated retail price of the Nokia N8 is EUR 370 ($490), before applicable taxes or subsidies. More details about the N8 can be found here.
