One of the things that I dislike most about portable music is that the bass is typically very lacking. This is especially true if you try to listen to music or watch movies on a netbook or notebook computer. The audio systems just aren’t up to par 99% of the time.

A new device from digiZoid called the zo Personal Subwoofer for Portable Audio. The device s designed to improve the sound quality that any media player or listening system for your music. Te subwoofer is about the size of an iPod nano.

It has 32 selectable subwoofer intensity and frequency response contouring profiles. The device has a LightScale indicator on the front to show what listening profile is selected and weights less than an ounce. It comes with a mini USB cable, dual 3,5mm stereo cables, and an instruction guide. It sells for $99 and is available today.
