HP Launches Updated Notebooks with AMD Tech

HP has announced that it has launched updated notebooks with new AMD tech inside. The new AMD tech is Vision and Vision Pro. Vision tech can be found in the Pavilion notebook line and specifically in the dm and DV series. The Vision Pro tech is offered in the HP ProBook business series.

The Vision Pro tech includes new AMD processors like the Phenom II, Turion II, and Athlon series. The Vision tech also includes features for power savings with AMD promising 24% longer battery life.

In all HP has added the new AMD Vision and Vision Pro tech to more than 12 notebooks including a couple Compaq models. Models that use the new Phenom II dual-core N620 processor promise 69% better performance than previous AMD machines.
