Electronic Arts' successful MySims series has done pretty well on the DS and Wii, arguably the 2 easiest platforms to develop for. And now it's coming to the more complex systems.
The MySims franchise, which includes games like MySims Party and MySims Racing, have historically been simplistic and casual games.
This latest entry is MySims SkyHeroes and is the most ambitious in the series so far.
"We are thrilled to have many firsts with MySims SkyHeroes, like introducing epic boss battles, cooperative gameplay missions, and online multiplayer," said EA's Sims Studio general manager Scott Evans.
The latter point is the most important. It will be the first MySims games to connect online. Players take the role of a fighter pilot who must engage in a variety of quests and missions. Online modes, which are offline in addition to online, pit up to 10 people against each other.
In addition to the new PS3 and 360 platforms, SkyHeroes will also be available on the Wii and DS. All versions are being set for a fall release.
