One of the things that goes along with getting older is having to take lots of medications. There are also millions of Americans from all walks of life and of all ages who have to take medications on a regular basis.

The trick for these folks who have to take meds on a regular basis is remembering to take the pills. A new app is available for the iPhone called The Pill Phone App that has several functions. The most important function is that it offers a reminder service to help people remember to take meds.

The reminders tell the user what medication to take and lets the user chart a skipped dose or delay taking the medication with a snooze feature. The app also has a database of pills to help identify medications if needed. The app is on the App Store right now for $1.99.
