You can get the New York Times, Wired magazine, and even college newspapers through special iPhone apps, but now there's a publication that exists only on Apple's mobile platform.
TapTilt is a magazine all about the iPhone and iPod Touch, and it's only available on the iPhone and iPod Touch. It is being advertised as the first iPhone-exclusive "magazine."
"Like a print magazine, TapTilt includes articles and regular features; unlike print, it delivers stories in the mediums that fit best – whether that's text, video, audio or photography," wrote the new publication's editor-in-chief Jim Sweeney.
The magazine will include regular features on the best gaming apps, using the iPhone to book travel getaways, and various "tips & tricks" for the device.
Additionally, free downloads will be available in each monthly issue. The first issue is available today, with special articles about gardening apps, using the iPhone to create art, and reviews of baseball-related apps.
The magazine is available as a $1.99 download from the App Store.
