The Palm Pre Plus will be launching on AT&T's network on May 16. The price may seem a little steep at first; $149.99 on contract after the rebate. That's $100 more than Verizon's fee, but AT&T is including a “free” Touchstone charging dock (Engadget) along with the Plus for a 'limited time”. If you want a webOS phone on AT&T's network, order it now-before the Touchstone deal ends and this turns back into a rip-off.
No other details are out yet. At the moment, it looks like Palm's Pixi Plus may be languishing in purgatory. Hopefully HP will push some development capital behind a new generation of webOS smartphones. The Pre Plus is starting to show its age, and the Pixi Plus looks downright wimpy compared to the latest generation of smartphones.
