Skype has just made their beta version 5.0 available for Windows. This new edition of Skype (only for Windows so far) finally allows group video calling. You can ring up to four of your friends/family at the same time. Everyone on the call will also need this beta version of Skype, of course.
With this breakthrough it will now be possible to blow off family reunions and gatherings with less guilt than ever before. Group video chat is just as good as meeting in person! Better, because you can mute Uncle Larry when he starts ranting about how the Moon Landing was faked. Thanks, Skype!
