Samsung has just announced a major milestone in the development of OLED televisions. Their new 5.5 generation has gone into production according to OLED-Display.net. This line is expected to enter mass production in Q1 2011. This new generation of displays can include televisions of up to 42” in size.
I don't even want to imagine how much a 42” OLED television will cost at this point. Ten thousand would be the low end of the spectrum. Oh, to be fabulously wealthy and also in Q1 of next year.
