More trouble crashed down on Palm today. Reports are flowing in (via GottaBeMobile) from Pre and Pixi users that something terrible has happened to the App Catalog. Once downloaded, new applications will not install.
It doesn't stop there. Once you've attempted to install a new app, access to all previously installed apps gets mucked up too. Voice, data, and text messaging functions appear unharmed. A workaround is possible by changing the date back to April. Palm has addressed the issue and intends to have a fix available soon.
