Facebook has just hit another major milestone; half a billion visitors for the month of April. These numbers come courtesy of ComScore (via WSJ) and represent the first time Facbook's numbers have reached this high. Google, by comparison, showed 921 million visitors for the same span of time.
The search giant still has a commanding lead, but this news makes it clear that Facebook is well on their way to catching up. This news means that Facebook is getting very close to half a billion registered users. They hit 400 million in February and expect to report 500,000,000 users at some point in late June.
