Apple iPhone developers received a new iPhone 4 OS beta version. iPhone Tethering is already available in the previous iPhone OS version, but AT&T is still not supporting it.
If you click Set Up Internet Tethering in the iPhone 4 OS according to Gizmodo you get specifics on how to contact AT&T to enable Tethering.
For me this is not really proof yet that AT&T really will unleash iPhone tethering with the launch of iPhone 4 OS. The delay is not dependent on the iPhone capabilities, AT&T fears network issues. AT&T apparently thinks every iPhone user will start to hook up his MacBook to the iPhone for massive movie streaming and downloading every game available through Steam.
The new iPhone 2010 is expected to be officially unveiled on June 7th.
