Mvix Inc. has just sent out a press release announcing the launch of a new line of home theater entertainment solutions. The HDHome is a convergence of gaming and home computing into one box with plenty of storage space and a sexy modular design. The HDHome uses the Windows 7 Media Center platform to browse Internet TV stations, watch Netflix, Hulu, and more.
The HDHome packs an embedded slot-load Blu-ray player with PowerDVD. It has an embedded TV tuner that allows you to watch, pause and record live TV. It can handle full 1080p HD video. Add in RAID-enabled hot-swappable HDD bays and you have the most comprehensive media center solution on the market.
The HDHome has two versions. The 2-bay version costs $999, while the 4-bay version costs $1599. Both models pack all the above features, plus 10/100/1000 network, Wireless-N, BD Drive, Media Card Slots, HDMI-out, Optical Audio Out, TV Tuner, and Windows 7 Home Premium. What more could you ask for?
