The device is price at $49.99 and can connect to most devices including cell phones, iPods, and the iPhone. The speaker inside the Eco Extreme is a 3-inch full range unit and it has a rubberized shell to protect it against drops and falls.
It connects to a 2-inch detachable carabiner that lets the user clip the speaker to a backpack or other device for transportation. The speaker connects to devices using a 3.5mm headphone jack and it is waterproof to IPX7 standards. Power comes from 3AA batteries.
