Magellan has just announced the launch of the RoadMate line of GPS navigators. The RoadMate 2000 series includes the RoadMate 2035 (US and Puerto Rico), RoadMate 2036 (adds Canada, AAA Tourbook and Roadside Assistance/Highway Lane Assist) and the RoadMate 2045, which adds a microSD slot. All 2000-series models have a 4.3” screen.
The RoadMate 3000 series includes four 4.7” units. The RoadMate 3045 covers the US, Canada and Puerto Rico. The RoadMate 3045-LM adds Free Lifetime map updates to that. The RoadMate 3055 adds in Bluetooth and voice dialing, while the RoadMate 3065 includes Traffic Wake-up and Periodic Reporting.
The RoadMate 5045 has a 5” screen and the same features as the RoadMate 3045, covering the US, Canada and Puerto Rico. All of these GPS units will cost between $169.99 and $299.99.
