Talk about your dubious honors. The series finale of Lost is now the most torrented file in all of history. TorrentFreak reports that, in less than a day, close to a million people downloaded the last two episodes. More than 100,000 seeders shared each single torrent at a time. Most of these downloads were from foreign Lost fans, since the final episodes have yet to air in many places overseas.
TorrentFreak expects a total of four to five million downloads of the final two episodes by the end of the week. Hey Hollywood, listen up; you are losing out on millions of potential customers because your shows are not available legally in many other countries until months after they first air. You can't expect people to wait that long. Create some legal options, and most of these torrenters will probably take them.

The “geek mind” is concerned with more than just the latest iPhone rumors, or which company will win the gaming console wars. I4U is concerned with more than just the latest photo shoot or other celebrity gossip.
The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. If a Fortune 500 decides to raise their minimum wage, or any high priority news, the geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
