Nokia has announced a couple new basic handsets that are aimed at users in remote locations and third world countries. The handsets include the Nokia C1 and the Nokia C2. Nokia also showed off a new bicycle charger kit for users without consistent electricity.

The C1-00 will sell for EUR 30 before taxes and has dual SIM cards that let the user choose which to use with a button press. The standby battery life is claimed to be 6-weeks. The C2 is also a dual SIM phone with the difference being that both SIMs are active at once.

The second SIM on the C2 is also hot swappable for those with more than two SIMs they need to use. Nokia has also offered the C1-01 and the C1-02, which are both single SIM devices. The handset s will launch on the Q3 and Q4 range.
