The clothing of the future sounds simultaneously wussy as hell and totally badass. The BBC reports that an artistic project named Wearable Alliance has lead to the creation of “smartclothes”. These garmets have wireless sensors to measure heart rate, temperature, breathing and galvanic skin response. They analyze data on your emotional state and take efforts to improve it.
Yes, you read that right. The clothing of the future will detect when you are sad or stressed or worried and pipe soothing music, encouraging messages from friends and family, and pre-recorded text in order to calm you down.
Personally, I have enough problems without turning my pants into a paranoid, hovering electronic mother.
