The accessory in the image above is a mock up using a Microsoft webcam. The finished product will look different reports Pocket-lint. The thing is a webcam that has an iPad connector on the end allowing for direct connectivity to the iPad.
The webcam will support IM applications and have a resolution of 640 x 480. You might notice that the card under the cam in the pic here says 200MP. The cam is 2MP not 200 obviously. PhotoFast offers no pricing data and says the finished product will launch later this year.
