That's right folks; Netflix is coming to the iPhone. Earlier at the ongoing WWDC conference Steve Jobs announced that the popular service would be getting an iPhone app soon. Reed Hastings from Netflix came out to address the crowd and detail this new service.

Hastings noted that the iPad Netflix app is the #1 most-downloaded app in the entertainment section. In order to capitalize on this demand, the Netflix iPad app will launch later this summer for free. It will allow you to switch from iPad to iPhone without losing your viewing spot, search, and que up more features. This app WILL work over 3G. (Image from the Engadget liveblog)
