Apple will launch their mobile advertising network on the iPhone starting July 1st. iAds is integrated into iOS 4, which makes banners a seamless experience inside apps.
Banners are supposed to be a big money maker for iPhone app developers that opt to keep their app prices low.

Apple already sold $60 million in advertisements for iAds, which is pretty impressive.
