The Sony Vaio P is now available for pre-order in the United States. Pocketables reports that the VPC-P113KX model is on the SonyStyle website for the hefty price of $899.99. Delivery should come on or around June 25. The P is available in every color pattern but crocodile.
Sadly, you won't have much choice in WHICH sort of P you buy. Only one configuration is on sale. It pairs a 1.6 GHz Z530 processor with a 128 GB SSD, 2 GB of RAM, b/g/n WiFi and Bluetooth 2.1+EDR. Add in Verizon mobile broadband and you have a netbook that is almost impressive enough to justify the wallet-breaking price.
