Samsung is hard at work bringing a tablet to compete with the iPad to market. The tablet has been talked about a bit already and today the full specs of the device have been leaked. The tablet will be officially called the Samsung Galaxy Tape, which is a horrible name.

The device will reportedly run Android 2.2 and use an A8 1.2GHz CPU. The device has 16Gb of onboard memory and that can be expanded up to 48GB via microSD cards. The 7-inche screen is a Super AMOLED unit.

The tablet will weigh 370g and will use a 4000mAh battery. The tablet will also ship with an eBook reader app. The same person leaking the specs claims that the device will land in September, pricing is unknown.
