I was a very big fan of the UFC Undisputed 2009 game that shipped last year. It has so much to it that it was one of the best fighting games I have every played. UFC 2010 debuted recently to high expectations.

The 2009 game sold 2.9 million copies in Q1. However, the new version of the game is not doing well. So far, the 2010 version has only moved 2.6 million units.

I think the problem is that many word of mouth reports on the game have fans convinced that short of a few new fighters, the game is just like last year's version. THQ has lowered its quarterly sales projections to $155 to $165 million from $190 to $200 million.
