Palm Pre Plus, Pixi Plus, Coming To Verizon

There have been rumors of a Verizon Pre since the day the Pre first went on sale. Sprint's exclusivity will be over at some point next year, and Big Red wants a slice of that Palm action. Boy Genius has received word that VZW will be carrying the Pre and the Pixi. Both phones will have a new name for their new carrier; the Palm Pre Plus and the Palm Pixi Plus. Both devices will run webOS version 1.3.5 at launch. The hardware specifications of the Pre and Pixi are not expected to change for Verizon. That's a shame; the Pre and the Pixi are starting to feel a little bit old.
