Not only AT&T and Apple had issues keeping their ordering systems up for the iPhone 4 yesterday, also the German Telekom had severe issues yesterday.
A Telekom spokesperson said to NTV (German) that the demand for the demand for the new iPhone 4 was 10 times higher than last year when the iPhone 3GS went on sale.
German Telekom is also likely not to be able to fill all pre-orders for the iPhone 4 on June 24th.
As reported earlier the iPhone 4 is sold out on the Apple Store in the US and new orders ship July 2nd.
Apple sold 1 million iPhone 3GS over the launch weekend in 2009. Will the sell 10 times as many iPhone 4? - Nah! My guess is that Apple took 1 million iPhone 4 pre-orders yesterday across the five launch markets.
