AT&T has stopped taking pre-orders for the Apple iPhone 4 on their site. If you click on the pre-order button you get a message saying: "Pre-orders for iPhone temporarily suspended."
On the Apple Store you can still pre-order the iPhone 4, but the shipping date is now already July 14th. This morning it already moved to July 2nd.
If you did not get your pre-order in yesterday you will have to wait very long for an iPhone 4. The official shipping date for the iPhone 4 is June 24th.
As reported earlier, deutsche Telekom saw 10 times higher demand for the iPhone 4 than for the iPhone 3GS. Apple could well already have over a million iPhone 4 sold in the past 24 hours. Update: Apple announces record breaking 600,000 iPhone 4 pre-orders for day 1.
