Apple does not really like to talk about what is inside the iPhone 4. It is magic, that is all you need to know. If that is not enough for you, MacRumors has now confirmed that the iPhone 4 has 512MB of RAM.
This is twice as much as the iPhone 3GS has. More RAM is great for multi-tasking and apps that are heavy on memory like the new iMovie app.
We already know that the iPhone 4 is also powered by the Apple A4 CPU like the iPad.
