Buy Chrome OS from Amazon Cyber Monday and Black Friday Now

Well, that's one less thing for Apple to brag about. Google's Chrome web browser has just overtaken Safari in US market share according to a press release sent out by StatCounter. In the week of June 21, Chrome hit 8.97% of the market. Safari, on the other hand,. languished at just 8.88%. For a bit of perspective, Internet Explorer still holds 52% of the market while Firefox makes up for 28.5%.

On a global scale, Chrome has 9.4% of the market while Safari holds just 4%. I'd advise against Google sitting too pretty on those numbers, though. If there's one thing Apple knows how to make, it is a comeback.
