Rumors have started to filter out through Chinese gadget sites (MP4 News) that Qualcomm has just sent out a shipment of dual-core processor samples to vendors.

The MSM8260 and MSM8660 will both be dual-core processors made on a 45 nm process with 1.2 GHz on each core. Expect GPS integration, 2D and 3D acceleration engines, 1080p video-decoding and a low-power audio engine. There will also be support for 24-bit WXGA 1280x800 pixel displays.

This info is very much still a 'rumor'. Wait until Qualcomm says something or a video / photo leaks out before taking any of this too seriously.
